DHAKA: Netherlands beat England by 45-run in the 17th match of Super 10 stage, also ninth game of Group 1, of the ICC World T20 on Monday evening.

England scored 88-run losing all ten wickets in 17.4-over in response to Netherlands’ 133-run losing five wickets.

W Barresi’s 48-run helped Netherlands to reach 133-run in their stipulated 20-over.

SCJ Broad bagged three wickets while C Jordan and R Bopara took one wicket each.

R Bopara scored highest 18-run for England.

Mudassar Bukhari and LV van Beek bagged three wickets each while T van der Gugten and PW Borren took one wicket each.

Earlier in the day, England won the toss and elected to field at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.

The match kicked off at 3:30am local time.

The game was a formality-maintaining one as both the teams have already been out of the race to the next round.
