Bangladesh bat first

DHAKA: Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first in the first ODI match against visiting India. 

The match started at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at 1:00pm Sunday.  

Tigers hope to do well under the new coach Chandika Hathurusingha, bowling coach Heath Streak and trainer Mario Villavarayan.  

Earlier on Friday, Indian cricket team arrived Dhaka on a weeklong tour to play a three matches ODI series against Bangladesh.  

Suresh Raina leading the 15-member youthful team of world champions India.   

The two others one day matches will be held on June 17 and 19 at the same venue.
