DHAKA: The curtain has already fallen of the greatest show on earth FIFA World Cup-2014 past night with announcing Lionel Messi as the best player of the tournament with Golden Ball prize.

But, it started the debate whether Messi or Mueller was the best – as FIFA, itself is still saying Mueller’s scores were better rather then Messi.

International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) on its website says that Mueller scored five goals on behalf of the World Cup champion-2014, Germany while runners-up Argentina’s Messi made four from seven each matches.

Though, Messi made 22 shots in 693 minutes playing and Mueller 16 on 682 minutes, but he recovered two more balls than Messi with covering a 21.3km distance.

Also, none of them could save any goal at the tournament.

However, Messi was better than Muller in completing passes. He completed 242 passes while Mueller only 221.

Their tackles were 7 and 8 following Messi and Mueller while top speeds were 30.3km and 30.5km.
