DHAKA: Heading into a tour of the West Indies, Bangladesh National Cricket Team is going to leave the country on Wednesday.

For this tour’s three-match ODI series, beginning from August 20, a 15-member Bangladesh squad has been fixed and they will fly on Wednesday night, reports the espncricinfo.com on Sunday late night.
   
The report added that Tigers’ captain Mushfiqur Rahim, about this tour, said that he is hopeful to play a competitive and better series, at a press briefing on Sunday at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

"We will be having enough opportunities to adjust to their conditions. We have played there before so we have an idea of the conditions. But everything depends on how we start and play over there," he told journalists there.

"Cricket is not a one-man game. We need at least three to four players to perform in our team, so from that aspect we are motivated that many players who haven't been in form have been working hard. Hopefully they can motivate themselves to work harder. They need to put in their best performance," the captain said citing the absence of suspended all rounder Shakib Al Hasan in the squad.

However, Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha also expressed his satisfaction over the hard work and performances of his boys at that time.

Apart from the three ODI’s, Bangladesh will play two Tests and a T20 international match against host West Indies during the tour.
