DHAKA: Bangladesh cricket team captain Mushfiqur Rahim’s ‘gaye-holud’ (bridal shower) will be held on Wednesday.

Sources told banglanews that ‘gaye-holud’ of Mushfiq’s would be, Jannatul Khifayet Mondi, will also be held on the day.

Mondi, hailed from Manikganj, is a sister-in-law of Bangladesh team vice-captain Mahmudullah Riyad.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, national skipper’s father Mahabub Hamid said that ‘gaye-holud’ of the duo will be held at Falcon Hall of Bangladesh Air Force Officers’ Mess in city on Wednesday evening.

He, however, added Mushfiq-Mondi’s wedding ceremony will be held on Thursday at Officers’ Club on Bailey Road in city while their wedding reception will be held on September 27 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.

“Moreover, another reception will also be held at Mushfiq’s hometown in Bogra,” he said.

Mushfiq got engaged to Mondi on October 26 last.
