RAJSHAHI: Bangladesh and Sri Lanka national football teams arrived in Rajshahi on Saturday.

They will face each other on Monday at the 2nd International friendly match.

Sources told banglanews that they reached here in the afternoon.

The district and divisional sports officials welcomed the teams warmly at that time, sources added.

Nevertheless, the much-waited international friendly match will take place at Muktijoddha Smriti Stadium in Rajshahi at 3:00pm on October 27.

Private satellite television Channel 9 and Bangladesh Betar from Rajshahi will air the match live.

Mamunul Islam Mamun, however, will lead the Bangladesh team at the friendly while AKM Saiful Bari Titu is playing the role of coach.

Earlier, the both team were satisfied with a 1-1 draw in the first friendly match at Shamsul Huda Stadium in Jessore on Friday.
