DHAKA: A case was filed with Mirpur Thana on Saturday against Rubel Hossain, a player of national cricket team of Bangladesh, under the Women Prevention and Child Repression Act.

Naznin Akter Happy, a 19-year old girl and actress of Bengali film, filed the case with the thana around 4:05pm.

According to the case statement Rubel Hossain raped the girl tempting her to marry.

Officer-in-Charge of Mirpur Thana Salahuddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.
