Australia XI beat Bangladesh by 6 wickets

DHAKA: Australia XI beat Bangladesh by 6-wicket with more than 8-over remaining in the second unofficial practice match at Brisbane in Australia on Thursday.

Michael Clarke had scored 34 before Mushfiqur took the catch behind the stumps.

Bangladesh bowlers Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Al Amin and Mahmudullah Riyad picked up one wicket each.

Earlier in the day, Tigers were all out for 193 runs in 44-over while Nasir Hossain was top scorer with 52 runs.

Wickets fell in pairs throughout the innings. Shakib al Hasan has gone scoring just 2 runs.

Mahmudullah and Sabbir built up a 50-run partnership.

Aston Turner, also captain of Cricket Australia XI, begged 4-wickets for 30 runs.

Bangladesh played without Mashrafe and Tamim.

On Tuesday, Bangladesh team conceded a five-wicket defeat against Cricket Australia XI in the first unofficial practice match on the Alan Border ground.
