SA need 134 for Semifinal

DHAKA: South Africa started batting after Imran Tahir and Duminy had restricted Sri Lanka to a low 133 runs total in first quarter final of World Cup at Sydney Cricket Ground.

Tahir bagged four wickets, Duminy three while Steyn, Abbott and Morkel got one each to put Sri Lanka in a collapsed position.

Sangakkara and Thirimanne, however, scored 45 and 41 runs.

Earlier Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews won the toss and deiced to bat. The match kicked off at 9:30am Bangladesh time.
