Hope for 10th Banglawash

DHAKA: After a historic series seal against Pakistan by two victories in a row, Bangladesh are now looking to lead the series by 3-0, winning the last match against the visitors on Wednesday.

The last game of the three-match One Day International series will kick off at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur in city at 2:30pm.

As happened in previous two games, Tigers now set their sights to win the match with a view to give a clean sweep against the visitor. If wins, it will be the 10th Banglawash in the Tigers’ cricket history.

Bangladesh are going for a 3-0 victory, they will not want to change the line-up. However, if they rest one of their senior players, Mominul Haque or Rony Talukdar could get a go.

Pakistan are likely to replace Rahat Ali, bringing in Umar Gul. Zulfiqar Babar could come in to add to the spin attack though with Hafeez now allowed to bowl, they could go with Ajmal as the only specialist spinner.
