Dhaka Dynamites need 111-run

DHAKA: Comilla Victorians have scored a below par 110-run losing eight wickets against Dhaka Dynamites in the second match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2015 at Sher-e-Bangla Nation al Cricket Stadium in city’s Mirpur Sunday evening.

Controlled bowling of Dhaka Dynamites saw early success as they chipped down half the side of Comilla on 36-run in 7.3-over.

However, the sensible batting of late middle order helped Comilla Victorians to amass a score to bowl at. Captain Mashrafe Mortaza scored 25-run while Mahmudul Hasan, K Santokie and Ariful Haque took 22, 21 and 13-run each.

Abul Hasan, who opened bowling for Dhaka, took three wickets while Mosharraf Hossain took two wickets. Mustafizur Rahman and Farhad Reza took one wicket each. Yasir Shah could not take any wicket but gave away only 14-run in his four over quota.

Earlier, Comilla Victorians captain Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and elected to bat first.
