Winning the toss, Victorians captain Mashrafe Mortaza decided to field first. Their bowlers did an excellent job, restricting Riders below even 100-run.

Mohammad Mithun was the top scorer for Riders with 28 while Saqlain Sajib gathered 11-run. No other Rangpur batsman managed to reach in double digits.

Misbah Ul Haq is the new captain for Rangpur Riders in absence of Shakib Al Hasan, who was suspended for one match over his manners with an on-field umpire.

Riders are currently on top of the table with 6 points while Victorians are not also far behind as they are in the second place with 4 points.
