Namibia chasing 160-run target

DHAKA: Namibia batsmen are chasing 160–run target set by Scotland in the ninth match of the ICC Under-19 World Cup at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar on Friday.

Namibia Under-19s Namibia Under-19s require another 118 runs with 10 wickets and 42.0 overs remaining in the Group A match.
   
SJ Loftie-Eaton and N Davin are at the crease with 23 and 18 respectively.

Earlier, Scotland lost all 10 wickets after scoring 159 runs in 36.3 overs.

M van Lingen bagged three tickets while W van Wyk, SJ Loftie-Eaton and C Brits picked up two wickets each for Namibia.

Scotland U19 won the toss and elected to bat first.

The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2016 got underway from the January 27 with hosts Bangladesh taking on defending champions South Africa at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS) in Chittagong.

The Tournament will end which started on January 27 will conclude on February 14. The participating teams are divided into four groups A,B,C and D.

Group A consists of defending champion and hosts Bangladesh, Scotland and Namibia.
