Sri Lanka set 151-run target

DHAKA: Sri Lanka scored 150-run losing four wickets from their 20-over quota against Pakistan in the 10th match of Asia Cup-2016 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur in city on Friday (March 04).

Earlier, Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi won the toss and invited Lankans to bat first in the dead rubber as far as the tournament is concerned.

Both the team, however, will treat this with utmost seriousness looking ahead to the World T20. They have three games - this and two warm-ups - to narrow down on their ideal XIs, so there’s plenty to play for.

T Dilshan hit an unbeaten 75-run while LD Chandimal 58-run helped Lankans set the target.

Mohammad Irfan picked up two wickets while Wahab Riaz and Shoaib Malik took one wickets each.

Pakistan brought three changes -- Khurram, Sami and Anwar Ali have been left out. Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim and Iftikhar Ahmed are in.

D Chandimal will captain the match for Sri Lanka as Angelo Mathews has been suffering from a calf strain. Niroshan Dickwella comes in his place.
