DHAKA: The final of Asia Cup between host Bangladesh and India will begin at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur of Dhaka 9:30pm.

The game has been reduced to 15-overs a side. Fielding restrictions for five overs, and a bowler can bowl a maximum of three overs.

The umpires made the decision after inspecting the field at 8:45pm after the match was delayed due to rain and storm.

The match was scheduled to start at 7:30pm Bangladesh time.

The rain had stopped at 7:40pm and groundsmen, led by Gamini Silva, worked hard so that the game can start.
