Cricketer Ashraful’s father laid to rest

BRAHMANBARIA: Former captain of Bangladesh national cricket team Mohammad Ashraful’s farther and also former Union Parishad chairman Abdul Matin was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon (September 20).

He was buried after namaz-e-janaza on Hafez Mohammadullah Islamiya Madrasa and Etimkhana premises at Manikpur village in Bancharampur upazila of Brahmanbaria district.

Earlier on September 20, Matin breathed his last at the age of 70 years at Apollo Hospitals in the capital of Bangladesh.

He had been suffering from kidney diseases for a long.
