DHAKA: Edison Group, the parent company of the leading mobile handset brand Symphony, arranged an inter-divisional football tournament titles ‘Edison Futsal 2016’.

Employees of Edison Group formed nine teams named Avengers, Challengers, Hawks, Dynamites, Fireballs, Dynamo Stars, Warriors and Gladiators.

Dynamo Stars defeated Gladiators by one goal in the final match and became the unbeaten champion of ‘Edison Futsal 2016.’

In the beginning, the teams were divided into two groups and competed in the group stage at Handball Stadium in city’s Motijheel on September 23.

Semifinal matches and the final were held on the same field on September 24.  At the end of two semi-final matches, Dynamo Stars and Gladiators reached to the final.

Chairman of Edison Group Aminur Rashid handed over the trophy to the skipper Shafiul Alam of the champion team of ‘Edison Futsal 2016’.

Senior Director of Edison Group Rezwanul Hoque, Head of Strategic HR Ahmed Pasha and Director of Marketing Ashraful Haque were also present during the prize giving ceremony.
