FROM MIRPUR: The opening match and second match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) fourth edition has been called off due to persisting rain of the city.

The umpires called off the first match between Comilla Victorians and Rajshahi Kings at 4:50pm on Friday (November 4) at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Khulna Titans and Rangpur Riders were supposed to play the second match at 7:15 pm, but couldn’t because of rain.  

After hours of delay, the umpires were forced to call it off at 9:25pm which was scheduled to be played at the same venue.
