CHITTAGONG: Rangpur Riders reached the point table top beating Khulna Titans by 7 wickets in the 23rd Match of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)-2016 at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Tuesday (November 22).

Riders scored 129 runs with six balls remaining. Mohammad Mithun’s    not out 49, Mohammad Shahzad’s 37 and Shahid Afridi’s 26 helped reach the winning target smoothly.    

Earlier, Khulna Titans captain Mahmudullah Riyadh won the toss and elected to bat first in the match that began at 1:00 pm local time.

Titans batsmen scored 125-run losing seven wickets in their 20-over quota.
 
Taibur Rahman scored 32-run while Riki Wessels and Ariful Haque gathered 27 and 22-run respectively.

Arafat Sunny, Shahid Afridi and Rubel Hossain took two wickets each while Ariful Haque ran himself out in the last ball of the innings.
