DHAKA: Indomitable banglanews24.com cricket team on Monday (December 12) sealed quarter-final spot in the DSEC media cup cricket tournament by beating Mohona TV by 40 runs at Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in Dhaka.

For the first time, Dhaka Sub-Editors Council (DSEC) has organized the joint ventured Jago News-DSEC Media Cup tournament for its members.

A total of 32 media houses have been participating in the tournament, sponsored by soft-drinks Braver and Bisk club.

Earlier on Sunday (December 11), Banglanews beat Prothom Alo cricket team by 79-run.
