DHAKA: Bangladesh cricket team members returned home from Sri Lanka on Friday (April 7).

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) received the cricketers with warm welcome and floral wreaths at the VIP lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 11:30am.

Bangladesh’s One day Internations (ODI) and T20I cricket Captain Mashrafe Mortoza accompanied by BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP and other team members faced the media at the airport.

Earlier Mashrafe announced his retirement from T20 internationals at the toss of the first T20I between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh R Premadasha stadium in Colombo Tuesday (April 4).

In a query about the recent ODI series, Mashrafe said, “Everything was great in this series except the fact that we should have won this ODI series by 2-0.”
