DHAKA: Captain of Bangladesh Cricket Team Mushfiqur Rahim urged the people to stand by the flood victims, as the people of northern parts of the country are marooned in floodwater.

He made the call in a video on his facebook page on Tuesday (August 15).

Mushfiqur Rahim said, "I have come before you today with a lot of pain, hope and an appeal for help for the flood victims."

Mentioning the sufferings of flood victims of Dinajpur and Thakurgaon districts, he said that the people of the areas are now in crisis. The situation worsened.

Mushfiqur Rahim urged all to help the flood-affected people with relief or in any possible ways.
