KHULNA: Former Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful has finally been entered the High Performance (HP) squad of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), to play a four-day game.

This is the first time that Ashraful is playing for Bangladesh A team after serving the overlong ban. 

BCB HP Red team is playing against BCB HP Green, at Sheikh Abu Nasser Stadium in Khulna Wednesday (Sept 19).

Ashraful is playing for HP Red team.

34-year-old Ashraful’s 5-year ban on playing international cricket ended on 13 August 2018.

On the same day in 2016, he got clearance to play in Bangladesh’s domestic games.
