DHAKA: Tiger opener Liton Das has been named as an icon player in his BPL franchise squad of Sylhet Sixers.

Sylher Sixers thus captioned an image of Liton at their Facebook verified page Wednesday (Oct 3), greeting the right-hand hard-hitting batsman.

So, Liton Das entered the elite list of BPL iconic players--Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mostafizur Rahman.

The wicketkeeper-cum-opener went stronger by securing majestic 121-run knock off 117 balls, against 2018 Asia Cup final against India.

The sixth season of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is scheduled to kick-off in January, 2019.

Meanwhile, reports said that Chittagong Vikings won’t be playing in the tournament this time.
