SYLHET: Laos’ 3-1 goal defeat to Philippines cleared the route of Bangladesh to semi-finals in Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018.

On Wednesday (Oct 3) evening, Philippines ruled Laos out of the tournament, in the third match under group phase.   

Equation was that if if Laos secures a draw or beaten by the Philippines; Bangladesh will reach semi-finals with a match due.

However, Tajikistan will clash with Palestine under group-A Thursday (Oct 4).

All the matches under group phase will held at Sylhet Zila Stadium till Oct 6.
