DHAKA: Injured skipper of Bangladesh national cricket team Test and T20 squads Shakib Al Hasan arrived here on Sunday (October 14) morning, after undergoing treatment in Australia.
The flight of Singapore Airlines carrying Shakib Al Hasan landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka at 11:40am.
He took treatment to his injured little finger at a hospital in Melbourne. The hospital released him on Friday (Oct 11).
The all-rounder was ruled out of the Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai and returned home, due to the injury. After taking initial treatment at Apollo Hospital in Dhaka, he flew to Melbourne on Oct 5.
Physicians at the Australian hospital told Shakib that he shouldn’t undergo any surgery in next six months at least. But, he will be able to play cricket when the infection gets recovered.
Reports of the medical tests were found satisfactory.
