DHAKA: Tiger pacer Shahadat Hossain has finally received a call from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to play a three-day practice match against visiting Zimbabwe.

The 12-player BCB XI squad has been announced Wednesday (Oct 24). 

Shahadat was last seen playing for the national team against Pakistan, in 2015.

At present, he is observed performing pretty excellent in National Cricket League (NCL) with 12 wickets to his credit off 4 matches.

However, the three-day practice match will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury stadium in Chattogram on Oct29-31.

Afterwards, Bangladesh national squad will kick-off the two-match Test series against the visitors on November 3.

BCB XI Squad: Mosaddek Hossain, Nurul Hasan, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Abu Hider, Fazle Mahmud, Mizanur Rahman, Zakir Hassan, Ariful Haque, Afif Hossain, Ebadat Hossain, Rubel Hossain and Shahadat Hossain
