DHAKA: Bangladesh national team former skipper Mohammad Ashraful is all set to return to BPL as Chittagong Vikings has recruited him for the 2019 edition of the franchise-based T20 tournament.

Chittagong Vikings took Ashraful under category-B during the Bangladesh Premier League players’ draft at Radisson hotel Sunday (Oct 28).   

Sikandar Raza, Luke Ronchi, Mushfiqur Rahim, Nazibullah Zadran, Sunzamul Islam, Robbie Frylinck, Nayeem Hasan, Khaled Ahmed, Abu Jayed Rahi, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Cameron Delport, Dasun Shanaka, Mohammad Ashraful and Robiul Haque have been drafted by the Vikings till filing this report.

However, the next season of BPL is scheduled to begin on January 5, 2019.
