CHITTAGONG: Poor weather led to cancellation of the first day of the practice match of BCB XI versus Zimbabwe.

Match referee Rakibul Hasan called-off the game upon holding discussion with both the squads, following heavy rainfall in Chittagong.

The 3-day pre-test match was scheduled to kick-off Monday (Oct 29).  

The match will start on its second day if the bad weather doesn’t persist, said the referee.

However, visiting Zimbabwe will face the Tigers in the first Test of the two-match Test series at Sylhet International Stadium on Nov 3-7.
