DHAKA: Shadman Islam has made his debut for Bangladesh after his name was announced in the playing XI for the second Test of the two-match series against visiting West Indies at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Friday (Nov 30).   

He paired up with Somya Sarker, replacing injured Imrul Kayes.

The left-hander scored 73 runs in a two-day warm-up match against the visitors in Chattogram earlier.
