DHAKA:   Bangladesh resumed its 2nd day of the second Test against touring West Indies at city’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Saturday (December 1).

Tigers have scored 471/8 till writing of the report.

Taijul Islam and Mahmudullah Riyad are now batting.

Mahmudullah Riyad scored 111 off 113 balls.

On the 1st day, Tigers scored 259 runs with the loss of five wickets.   

Mushfiqur Rahim became the second Bangladesh man to score 4000 Test runs.

Earlier, Tamim Iqbal had become the first to reach the mark in West Indies.

Shadman Islam hit his debut fifty off 147 deliveries in his debut Test cricket.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first in the second Test.
