DHAKA:  Rangpur Riders have set a 99-run target for Chittagong Vikings in the opening match of the sixth edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) began on Saturday (Friday 5). 

Ravi Bopara’s highest 44 runs off 47 balls helped the team of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza score 98 runs for all wickets in their stipulated 20 overs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in city’s Mirpur.

Robert Frylinck of Vikings took four wickets while Abu Jayed and Nayeem Hasan picked up two wickets each.
