Low score marks Ashraful’s BPL comeback Mohammad Ashraful added only 3 runs to the total of Vikings.

DHAKA: The runs Mohammad Ashraful scored didn’t match his expectation in his comeback match in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) after long five years of absence.

The ex skipper of national cricket team added only 3 runs off 5 balls to his franchise Chittagong Vikings.

He was dismissed by Rangpur Riders’ Shafiul Islam in the opening match of BPL 2019 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Saturday (Jan 5).

Ashraful was seen sharing light moments with his once mate Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the captain of Riders.

Before that, Ashraful was last seen in BPL in its edition of 2013.

However, Chittagong Vikings started the journey with three-wicket victory over Rangpur Riders.
