DHAKA: Telecommunications and IT giant Nokia signed a sponsorship agreement with Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) defending champion Rangpur Riders.  

From now on, helmets of the Riders will be adorned with Nokia logo.

Rangpur Riders Chief Executive Officer Ishtiaque Sadeque and Union Group of Companies Managing Director Raquibul Kabir, on behalf of Nokia, signed the agreement.

Rangpur Riders Operations Head Tasvir Ul Islam, Nokia Bangladesh Head of Business Farhan Rashid and Marketing Lead Iffat Zahur were also present.

Bangladesh national team ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is captaining Rangpur Riders in the ongoing sixth season of the much-hyped franchise-based premier league of short-format cricket.
