DHAKA: Pacer Taskin Ahmed was ruled out of Bangladesh’s upcoming tour to New Zealand, due to injury on his leg.

His left ankle ligament slightly got torn during Saturday’s match against Chittagong Vikings.

Now, he will have to stay outside field for three weeks, to recover.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu said Taskin’s replacement for the New Zealand tour will be disclosed within a day or two.

The series of 3 ODIs and 3 Tests will start in New Zealand on Feb 13.
