DHAKA: Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 234 runs in 59.2 over on the first day of first Test against New Zealand Thursday (Feb 28).

Dashing opener Tamim Iqbal made a brilliant 126 with 21 boundaries and one over boundary.

Besides, Liton Das, Shadman Islam Mahmudullah, Mominul Haque and Mehidy Hasan Miraz returned to the pavilion scoring 29, 24, 22, 12 and 10 runs respectively. 

N Wagner bagged five wickets, Sodhi three while TA Boult and Grandhomme got one wicket each.

Khaled, Jayed and Ebadat made their debut.

Earlier in the day, New Zealand won the toss and elected to bowl first in the first innings of First Test against Bangladesh.
