To ensure participation of a well–prepared team of the competitive tournament, members of Bangladesh parliament have already started net practice.

Former Bangladesh cricket captain and lawmaker Naimur Rahman Durjoy said Countries whose teams are taking part in World Cup cricket 2019 will take part in world cup for parliamentarians.

“There are also special events, which will help develop relations among these countries. There are also several courtesy calls on the British Prime Minister”, he added.

The parliamentarians, including State minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, Naimur Rahman Durjoy and Sanowar Hossian, are seen passing busy time in practice at Mirpur Sher-e-bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday (April 26).
