DHAKA: Hosts Ireland set a 293-run target for Bangladesh by losing eight wickets in the match of the tri-nation ODI series at Dublin on Wednesday (May 15).
Earlier, Ireland won the toss and let the Tigers field first.
Paul Stirling’s eighth ODI century off 141 balls and William Porterfield’s 94 runs off 106 balls helped their side score 292 runs.
Abu Jayed Rahi hauled 5 wickets in his second ODI match while Mohammad Saifuddin bagged two wickets and Rubel Hossain picked up one wicket.
Bangladesh have rested Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Mithun, Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mustafizur Rahman, and have brought in Liton Das to open with Tamim Iqbal, as well as Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin and Rubel Hossain. Saifuddin returns from a back spasm he sustained before Bangladesh's previous match.
