DHAKA: Bangladesh national cricket team players were accorded a warm reception after they had reached Cardiff from The Oval, England Thursday (June 6).
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam and Bangladesh High Commissioner in London Saida Muna Tasneem attended the reception organized by Bangladesh High Commission in UK.
The Tigers started their World Cup mission through beating South Africa by 21 runs, in the first match of Bangladesh.
They lost their second match to New Zealand by 2 wickets.
In the next match, the Tigers will face host England in Cardiff Saturday (June 8).
The Bangladesh squad is being captained by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
