DHAKA: Afghanistan have set 228-run target against Pakistan in the 36th match of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Headingley in Leeds on Saturday (June 29).
Najibullah Zadran (42), Asghar Afghan (42) and Rahmat Shah (35) showed glimpses of brilliance but were thwarted by excellent bowling effort from Wahab Riaz, Imad Wasim and Afridi.
Earlier in the day, Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bat first.
For Pakistan, a win will propel them towards the coveted top four. A defeat will dent their hopes severely.
