DHAKA: Bangladesh cricket team are returning Dhaka Sunday (July 7) from England, ending their 2019 World Cup mission with the semi-final hope shattered.
They are scheduled to leave London by a flight of Emirates Airlines at local time 10:30am and will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here around 5:20pm Bangladesh time, after making a stopover in Dubai.
Captained by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Tigers won over rivals in three matches out of nine, in tournament stage.
In their last game at Lord's Friday (July 5), they suffered a crushing defeat to Pakistan by 94 runs.
Tigers left Bangladesh on May 1 for a tri-nation series in Ireland and the World Cup in England. Several of them returned home earlier, making it long two and a half months' tour for others.
