DHAKA: Woakes (3/20) and Archer (2/32) helped England restrict Australia to 223 runs in the 2nd semi-final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Thursday (July 11).
Only Steve Smith, with 85 off 119 balls, helped his side to post 223 runs in 49 overs with loss of all wickets.
Australia earlier won the toss and opted to bat against England.
England are unchanged but Australia have replaced Usman Khawaja with Peter Handscomb who will be making his world cup debut.
The winner will play New Zealand in the final on Sunday.
Australia, however, have never lost any of their seven previous World Cup semi-finals.
