DHAKA: The governing body of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is about to make some changes in its contracts with all franchisees ahead of T-20 session in December of the current year.
“A letter will be sent to all franchisees of BPL within 48 hours to discuss this issue,” Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) director Mahbub Anam informed reporters after a meeting of BPL governing council on Sunday (August 4).
Apart from new rules, one of the changes is inclusion of two new franchisees.
All BPL franchisees have to come under news contracts. The contract between players and franchisees is going to be cancelled. Everything has to start afresh.
