DHAKA: Fast-bowler Rubel Hossain has become father of a son, according to a post on his verified Facebook account where he shared two photos. 

His wife and newly-born son are seen in the photos.

He wrote in caption which could be translated as praise be to Allah. I have begotten a son by the grace of the Almighty.  Both of them- the mother and the baby- are fine.  Everyone, please keep us in your prayers.

The cricketer married Ishrat Jahan Dola in 2016. Dola is from Bagerhat. The is the first child of the couple.
