DHAKA: Bangladesh women bowled out Maldives within a single digit score in their 3rd South Asian Games match at Rangasala Stadium in Pokhara, Nepal on Thursday (December 5).
Batting first, Bangladesh women scored 255 runs with the loss of 2 wickets. On the other hand, Maldives collapsed in just 12.1 overs, having netted only 6 runs in total.
Bangladesh's Nigar Sultana became the first women from the country to record a T20 century and then Fargana Hoque.
Nigar Sultana and Fargana Hoque made a mountain of runs with 236.
Earlier, Bangladesh Men’s cricket team (U-13) beat Maldives in their first game of the ongoing 13th South Asian Games (SA Games) by 109 runs on Wednesday at Kirtipur, Nepal.
Bangladesh will face Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka (U-23) in their next three games which will take place on December 6, 7 and 8 respectively.
