DHAKA: Opener Tamim Iqbal registered the highest individual score in Bangladesh's first-class cricket with an unbeaten 334 runs on Sunday (Feb 2), the third day of the BCL first round.
He became the second Bangladeshi batsman to score the triple hundred at Mirpur's Sher-e-Bangla national cricket stadium on Sunday.
Tamim scored his 334 runs off 426 deliveries with forty two fours and three sixes.
Rakibul Hasan secured the first triple century scoring 313 in 2007.
Tamim crossed Rakibul’s run mark and finished at 334 not out as his team East Zone declared the innings on 555 for 2 against Central Zone during their Bangladesh Cricket League match (BCL).
