Dream11 IPL 2020
19th Match: DC Vs RCB Played at DSC Dubai, UAE
Brief Scorecard:
Delhi Capital (DC) :196/4 (MP Stoinis 53*, PP Shaw 42, RR Pant 37, S Dhawan 32, M Siraj 2/32) Beats Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) : 137 /9 (V Kohli 43, K Rabada 4/23, A Patel 2/18, A Nortje 2/22) By 59 Runs
Player Of The Match: Axar Patel.

A very well balanced DC a fine mix of young and old blowing away strong RCB by 59 runs climbed to the top of point’s table of IPL 2020. With 8 points from 5 matches DC is now more or less assured of a knock out round. RCB after this loss has the works cut out. Not flamboyant but still aggressive opening partnership of 68 in 6.4 overs between Shaw (42) and Shikhar (32) set the tone of DC batting first. Then another strong finish 89 in the 3rd wicket between young Indian prodigy Rishab Pant (32) and talented Aussie Stoinis (53*) set for RCB a steep target of 197 for chasing. DC bowling has all ends covered. Two brilliant protean Rabada (4/23) and Nortje (2/22) tormented the RCB batsmen with pace and subtle variations. Veteran R Ashwin (1/26) and Left Arm spinner A Patel (2/18) choked RCB. None but Virat (43) had any clue as RCB could only score 137/9. DC won and won big by 59 runs.

IPL 2020 is reaching the stage of tension. Every game is turning into a rat race for reaching among the top four. Of all the teams DC looks far better organized with sensible openers in hot chili form Shaw and very matured Dhawan. Then in Iyer and Pant DC possesses two great youngsters of bright prospect. Aussie All rounder Stoinis is also in good nick. Getting comfortable run cushion the bowlers are also bowling to their full potential. Good penetrative pace, good combination of spinners, great bench strength of quality bowlers makes them a good contender of IPL 2020. Put into bat last night their job was made easy from a good calculative opening partnership between Dhawan and Shaw. There was no mad rush yet they stitched together 68 in 6.4 overs. Middle order could play comfortably till the later stage when Pant and Stoinis blasted 89 taking the score to a reasonably safe zone of 196/8. Stoinis remained not out scoring 53 of only 26 balls striking 6 fours and 2 sixes. This talented Aussie is gradually growing as an impact player in the shorter version of the game.

DC came with a plan for defending the score against top-heavy RCB batting and executed it perfectly. Opening the attack with spin duo R Ashwin and A Patel they struck early blows removing Padikkai and Flinch within the first four overs with only 26 on board. Mr. 360 degree AB de Villiers was also not allowed to spread wings. Virat kept the hopes of RCB alive for a while. But it was a tall asks even for him alone as wickets kept tumbling at the other end. None but Kohli (43) could play with passion as Rabada (4/ 23), A Patel (2/18) and Nortje (2/22) choked RCB to 137/9.

DC looks well set for the business session with 8 points from 5 matches. RCB has to win both their matches to secure a place.
