Dream 11 IPL 2020. 25th Match
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Vs Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Played at DSC Dubai
Brief Scorecard:
RCB 169/4 (V Kohli 90*, D Padikkai 33, SN Thakur 2/40) beat CSK 132/8 ( AT Rayadu 42, N Jagadesan 33, CH Morris 33, Washington Sunder 2/16) by 37 Runs.
Player Of The Match: Virat Kohli

Champion Indian batting maestro playing a high quality innings of unbeaten 90 on a difficult to bat DSC wicket at Dubai powered RCB to 169/4. Then the RCB bowlers chocked sorry looking MSD led CSK to 132/8 winning the match by 37 creating a great opportunity for RCB qualifying for the knock out round.  The miseries of CSK continued as they finished mission IPL 2020 winning only a single match of the 7. It was really shocking watching a greater finisher Dhoni struggling for runs. Everything that starts has to finish. Perhaps it is time great ambassador of Indian cricket hangs his bat.

Virat won the toss in the day match and elected to bat. The responsibility of anchoring the innings was thrust upon VK as two power hitters Australian Captain Aaron Flinch (2) and Protean blaster ABD (0) were wiped out soon. New batting hero Paddikai (33) stayed with his captain for a while. Otherwise it was all Vintage Virat playing his skills on a very difficult wicket gripping and stopping. His unbeaten innings of 90 featured 4 classic boundaries and 4 over and across. RCB scored 169/4 which was considered enough at innings break considering the state of the wicket.

CSK had nothing to lose. Their chances of advancing in this year's tournament was all but over. They were playing for pride. In such situation shoulders drop. Usually the key players need showing the way. With Watson and du Plessis failing, the onus was on MSD for a last minute hurrah to sign off with pride. Unfortunately, he failed. The best of Rayadu (42) and Jagadeshan (33) could only take CSK as far as 132/8 still 37 runs short.  CH Morris playing in this match in place of injured Cottrell was the peak of RCB bowlers taking 3/15. Washington Sunder took 2/16. With 8 points from 6 matches chances for RCB playing in the knock out round now hangs on the last match. CSK returns home leaking their wounds winning only 1 of the 7 matches.
