Dream 11 IPL 2020,47th Match
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) VS Delhi Capitals (DC)
Played at DSC Dubai on 27 October 2020

Brief Scorecard:
SRH 219/2: (WP Saha 87, D Warner 66, MK Pandey 44*) beat DC 131 All Out in 19 Overs (RRPant 36, AM Rahane 26, Deshpande 20, Rashid Khan 3/7, T Natarajan 2/26, Sandeep Sharma 2/27) by 88 Runs.
Player of the match: Wriddhiman Shaha

A Crashing defeat of DC already placed comfortably may not have hurt much apart from losing winning momentum but has given SRH some bad needed oxygen for survival. West Bengal wicket keeper batsman Saha (87) pairing with flamboyant Australian Warner (66) gave SRH flying start based on which they posted a very impressive 219/2 in allotted overs. With such a run cushion smartest Afghan leggie rocked DC taking 3wickets for only 7 runs in his four overs. DC got bundled out for a paltry 131. Loosing by huge 88 runs DC now desperately need at least one more win from two matches to stay among top four. SRH have a theoretical opportunity for that as well.

On the DSC Dubai wicket behaving inconsistently DC let Sunrisers after winning the toss. Warner went back to his familiar position of opening the innings and this time he had WP Saha as his mate. Playing desperate carefree cricket the pair put together very useful 107 runs in the opening partnership where Warner was the dominant partner. He raced to 66 runs in 34 deliveries striking 8 fours and 2 sixes. Saha’s innings was equally destructive. He scored 87 in 45 deliveries with 12 fours and 2 sixes. Him and Manish Pandey added another very useful 63 runs in the 2nd wicket partnership. Pandey remained not out scoring 44. SRH finished at 219/2 in allotted 20 overs.

SRH with world’s best T20 bowler at the moment Rashid Khan with such a huge run cushion could expect a huge win at innings break. Rashid expertly delivered. He grabbed 3 wickets giving away only 7 runs in his 4 overs breaking the backbone of DC batting. None but RR Pant (36) could bat with any kind of assurance.  T Natarajan (2/26) and Sandeep Sharma (2/27) also bowled with passion. DC lost by 88 runs. It is to be seen how this defeat affected the mission of DC as losing winning momentum at crunch time may cost them dear. On the other hand if SRH can win both their remaining matches by large margin they may gate crash into top four.
