Chennai Super King (CSK) had nothing at stake but signing off with a bang. They did it in brilliant style. Kings XI Punjab had lot at stake; winning and gatecrashing into top four. CSK left the scene and took with them Kings of Punjab along with them. Kings of Chennai and Kings of Punjab left UAE unheralded from IPL 2020. 

On a low slow wicket flamboyant KXIP top order perished and even Universe Boss also proved a mere mortal. Their score of 153 /6 was only possible for lusty hitting by unheralded Hooda racing to unbeaten 62 in 30 deliveries. CSK made it cakewalk scoring 154/1 in 18.5 Overs. Both finishing on 12 points from 14 matches now have to pack their bags for home from UAE with lessons learned if any from IPL 2020.

KXIP strength was their flamboyant top three Rahul, Agarwall and CHG. Once they failed to deliver much they struggled. It could be humiliating for them had not Hooda usually good enough for 20-25 produced a very rare stroke full unbeaten innings of unbeaten 62. Even then 153 was not a score defending on a do or die match.

CSK having no possibility at all for staying in the tournament batted carefree. Gaikwad produced yet another innings of quality remaining unbeaten on 62 scored off 49 deliveries. Faf du Plessis scored 48. Rayadu scored unbeaten 30 as CSK buried KXIP hopes winning big by 9 wickets. There will be no more Kings at sight in UAE in IPL 2020. Ruturaj Gaikwad is a great find of CSK from IPL 2020.
